THE COMPANY FILES
Beauty & cosmetics
Huda Beauty
Huda Beauty is the cosmetics brand founded by Huda Kattan, connecting makeup expertise and public beauty education with a product range and a return to full founder ownership announced in 2025.
Explore the offeringA beauty voice developed into a product company
Huda Beauty developed from Kattan's public beauty work into a cosmetics business launched in 2013, initially associated with false eyelashes. Its current storefront spans multiple makeup categories, including complexion products, powders and palettes.
Kattan remains central to the brand's public identity through application, demonstrations and product communication. The company itself supplies the catalogue, ordering experience and operating structure behind that familiar creator voice.
A documented change in ownership
A June 2025 announcement states that Kattan bought back the equity associated with TSG Consumer Partners' earlier minority investment and regained full control. The release identifies her and Christopher Goncalo as co-chief executives. This updates the earlier ownership chapter and provides a company source for the brand's stated return to independence, without inferring a private valuation or the terms of the transaction.
